We got harassed by gypsies, ate snails, watched street performers, chased pigeons, and took a LOT of pictures. I am so happy I got to have this one last big trip in Europe before braving the world of college.
Thank you for visiting my blog today. Originally it was started in 2006 as a way to chronicle our overseas adventure, but it has turned into a place where I share my heart after my husband's untimely death at the age of 40. You can read more about his brief, but fierce battle with a rare cancer on his caring bridge site: http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/rob_murphy.

besties in Paris
Yesterday was the day I graduated from high school. It wasn't as big of a deal as I had originally thought it would be, but it was a necessary step into adulthood. Seeing as we were in transition mode to TLF, my mom was not able to throw me any sort of graduation party. Instead, my best friend Hannah took me to Paris for the day. We went on a USO tour, so it was doing basically toured all stereotypical Paris sites in one day. It sounds impossible, but we did it.
