Thank you for visiting my blog today. Originally it was started in 2006 as a way to chronicle our overseas adventure, but it has turned into a place where I share my heart after my husband's untimely death at the age of 40. You can read more about his brief, but fierce battle with a rare cancer on his caring bridge site: http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/rob_murphy.

Bed and Breakfast outside of Bath
The ladies spent a chilly, but sunny weekend in Bath, England. As you might know, I am ALL about the "Austen" and Bath being one of the main settings in the majority of her novels, and a place she lived and wrote, I have always wanted to go. Heather made all the arrangements and found this amazing Bed and breakfast on an old Mill farm. What an amazing way to start our trip (and I'll say nothing of the hard cider Heather introduced me to in the Pub we ate at on Friday night) *
We were treated to the company of some delightful creatures around the farm, including a peacock that was thrilled to show off for us.
