Potzburg Wildpark

If the weather is warming up that means some of our school-geared activities are coming to a close. That makes Tuesdays a perfect time to take advantage of all the local area fun spots. Our first "Tuesday Trinity Trip" was to the Potzberg Wildpark. It is located about 5 miles from my house. It is full of animals and birds of prey. The boys got to stay to watch a really cool birds of prey show (all in German), but Sarah and I had to leave because she still has dance on Tuesday afternoons.
It was a fun day spent with good friends from our church. We enjoyed the sunshine and all the cute critters, and some "scawwey" critters as well. I have a TON of pictures from that day, but I narrowed it down to 10 of my favorites.
Here we are starting of on our walk around the park.... the stroller brigade, as I like to call it.
This a giant pen full of hamsters, guinnea pigs, rabbits, and other creatures. They are all cute and fluffy and when no people are around we saw falcons and hawks circling above this area.... Rylan made a friend. We stopped for a little lunch about 1/2 way through our walk. Finally, Evan can pick on someone his own size!Micah found some things his size, too.As we approached the top of the hill we had a breathtaking view of some of the surrounding area. We were able to pick out my village by the huge silo. Curran snapped this photo for me with his way cool, way better camera. There is a pretty cool little park when you first enter. We spent a lot of time playing there and eating ice cream. This is a GIANT Hamster wheel in the park. I was sure Noah was going to get trampled and die. You can see him at the bottom of the wheel here trying to get up... at least he is still smiling.Check out this great Photo Curran took during the "Birds of Prey" show! You can see more of his really cool Eagle shots on his photography blog.
